yesterday after boon’s and mich’s rom, a few of us decided to catch a move.
painted skin is an ultimate chinese ghost story on love and sacrifice.
my favourite line in the movie: “你根本不懂什么是爱!”- vicki zhao
last night, because of 爱, i decided to ring up a friend whom i had not talked to for a long long time. it was awkward initially, but i’m just glad the catching up went on well. there’s just a little more to be done.
friends are important to me.
“every promise of God is yes and amen in your life..”

sigh
every man is limited in life by three things :
- the knowledge of his own mind
- the worth of his own character
- the principles upon which he builds his own life
these things shape a man within, for better or worse. they define the quality of his life. quality is always internal, not external.
- abstract from real man, by dr. edwin cole
i found this book while browsing my brother’s bookshelf, and this particular paragraph which was underlined, caught my attention.
if you are struggling with point 1, you can read “the creative mind by ulf ekman”.
if you are struggling with point 2, you can listen to “your mind & self-image by kong hee”.
if you are struggling with point 3, you need to come to God and do some soul searching.
some things to ponder:
- how would people define your quality as a person?
- would people define you as one with good reputation, or one with a lousy reputation?
i had been canvassing for the past 2 days.
it was truely an expereince for me, though i’m not sure if i would ever have the courage to do it again.
i was attached to 2 of the staff, who happen to be the top salesperson in the company and have learnt alot from them, as well as from the boss.
