yesterday was a fruitful day!
i slept early on sunday and woke up early on monday, did my laundry, mopped the floor and spent time at home and with mom. hahha sounds a bit boring though..
in the evening, watched tropic thunder with friends. oh gosh, it’s an extremely funny show! been a long long time since i laughed so hard and loud in a movie.
worth watching for a weekend’s price!
i can be quite a “hum bao” at times- that is i break down and cry, especially when i feel extremely hardpressed and helpless.
when i was growing up, i would cry whenever my parents quarrelled, as i was so affected by their relationship. until i became so tired of them.. and so tired of myself.. for being so affected by them, even though i had already forgave my dad then. one day, i told myself i’m not going to be affected by them again, no matter what.. and i snapped myself out of their situation. magically, the next time they raised their voices again, the impact was so much lesser.
today, i’m going to snap myself out of my situation and stop dwelling in the valley. i have done it before and i can do it again =)
let now the weak say i have strength
by the spirit of power
that raised Christ from the dead
let now the poor stand and confess
that my portion is Him
and i’m more than blessed
let now our hearts burn with a flame
a fire consuming all for Your Son’s holy name
and with the heavens we declare
You are our King
we love You Lord, we worship You
You are our God, You alone are good
You asked Your Son to carry this
the heavy cross, our weight of sin
i love You Lord, i worship You
hope which was lost, now stands renewed
i give my life to honor this
the love of Christ, the Savior King
let now Your church shine as Your bride
that You saw in Your heart
as You offered up Your life
let now the lost be welcomed home
by the saved and redeemed
those adopted as Your own
crying is a good form of release.
after crying, the valley seems less threatening.
maybe..when we cry, we let our emotions down and allow God to pass through our inner wall.. and depend on God the most, for we have come to the end of ourselves.. and nothing else matters more than knowing God truely cares and loves.

1 people may make plans in their minds, but only the Lord can make them come true. (ncv)
2 you may think everything you do is right, but the Lord judges your motives. (gnt)
3 commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. (niv)
4 the Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.
5 everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.
6 in mercy and truth atonement is provided for iniquity; and by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.
7 when you please the Lord, you can make your enemies into friends. (gnt)
8 better is a little with righteousness, than vast revenues without justice.
9 a man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.
10 divination is on the lips of the king; his mouth must not transgress in judgment.
11 honest weights and scales are the Lord’s; all the weights in the bag are His work.
12 it is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established by righteousness.
13 righteous lips are the delight of kings, and they love him who speaks what is right.
14 as messengers of death is the king’s wrath, but a wise man will appease it.
15 in the light of the king’s face is life, and his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.
16 how much better to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
17 the highway of the upright is to depart from evil; he who keeps his way preserves his soul.
18 pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
19 better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20 it pays to take life seriously; things work out when you trust in God. (message)
21 the wise in heart will be called prudent, and sweetness of the lips increases learning.
22 understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. but the correction of fools is folly.
23 the heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds learning to his lips.
24 pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
25 there’s a way that looks harmless enough; look again – it leads straight to hell. (message)
26 the person who labors, labors for himself, for his hungry mouth drives him on.
27 an ungodly man digs up evil, and it is on his lips like a burning fire.
28 a perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates the best of friends.
29 a violent man entices his neighbor, and leads him in a way that is not good.
30 he winks his eye to devise perverse things; he purses his lips and brings about evil.
31 the silver-haired head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.
32 he who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
33 the lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.
i was scolded by an impatient and unreasonable customer for a good 28min this afternoon. he kept insisting his invoice, which he should have demanded from my reseller- carrefour instead.
so what became of me after that 28min of scolding?
I WENT WILD IN OFFICE.
in my personal opinion, carrefour has extremely bad customer service and i think their staff are severely undertrained.
they do not understand the difference between a delivery order and an invoice!!! and to think carrefour is a mnc!
and unfortuanately, i blasted my top off this particular carrefour staff, who was the wrong person to scold at in the first place anyway.
carrefour’s customer service is HORRIBLE.
carrefour’s staff is BRAINLESS.
the customer who blasted me is STUPID.
there’s power in the words that you speak, so speak well and say only the nice ones.
gerry loves you!
