had a treat lunch at ilLido, sentosa recently. it’s an italian restuarant besides the golf club.
my appetizer- onion soup
the other appetizer- cheese and tomato.. i didnt like the cheese
my main course- chicken bits with potato. which i didnt enjoy. the chicken didnt taste nice and i’m not a potato lover. the other main course was some salmon which i felt was overcooked. the third main course was pasta in tomato sauce, which i didnt choose as it was tomato based.
the only dish i enjoyed, the tiramisu with mint ice cream. i traded my tiramisu with my neighbour’s share of ice cream. i love choco mint ice cream!

i wished i had lunched somewhere else instead as i’m not into fine-dining. unless you are really into fine italian food, choose somewhere else instead.

My sandals gave way on me while I was making a delivery!
Argh! Before I reached the destination, the flimsy strap snapped and I had to drag my foot. Thank God customer’s house was very near my house and I walked home without my left sandal! I think an uncle saw me with one missing sandal, but I couldn’t be bothered..
I went home to wash my feet and am on my way to sos.
thinking of my shoe rack and shoe boxes now, I do not
have a lot of shoes I can wear. The pair I am wearing now, is my working sandals, which I try not to wear on fridays and during weekends. I have a pair of covered flats, but the front buckle has came off. I really love this black flats as it goes so well with my flare pants and it is so comfortable to wear. Another pair of khaki covered shoes is left sitting on the rack, but I don’t have intention of wearing it as often since it always make my bunion hurt a great deal. Otherwise, it is pretty much a very comfy pumps. Another pair of sandals which seems to be out of shape due to my bunion again.. Sigh.. All my shoes are usually a size bigger so that I don’t put additional stress to my growing bunion. But because my shoes are usually bigger, they practically don’t fit the length of my feet, which makes walking weird if I don’t have a good padding at the back.
Time for shopping to buy new footwear.
Besides my footwear, I hope I can buy s0me new clothing too.. Either my clothing expands after washing, or I have lost too much weight. Yesterday I wore a a butterfly sleeves top which is kind of big for me. to make matter worse, I wore a pants which has excessive cloth around my bum and thigh. The whole combi was totally off. I thoughjt I look very scrawny yesterday. I guess I can either put on some weight so I can fit better into my clothing again or I can buy some new wears. The former is a better choice but I think I will take some time to put back some kilos. So I m choosing the latter and updating my waredrope! Heh heh.

met up with bao bao and claris last night at raffles city- before claris goes into the delivery ward next month and start her confirment!
bao bao and claris were my poly mates and we met when we were freshmen. we were 17 then and 9 years have passed.

i have plenty to update with happenings such as the youth camp and my work over the weekend. but will not be blogging them all at once for now.
have not been very involved in this youth camp as my al was not approved. yet with the little time i have, i am thankful that i made new friends.
ast year, i got to establish a better friendship with hui mei and jonathan even though 1 lives 1 street down my house and another is my fellow team leader.
this year, i got to work with some leaders which i must say, yes, i do enjoy their friendship, companionship, ideas and of course, i have a better understanding of their working styles.
next year, i am fully immersed into the “late twenties” and i’m not sure if i still have the previledge to be part of the dynamic youth team. if i’m ever given another chance, i will surely give a better part of me, time and effort to the whole event. and i cant wait to see the kind of friendships God wants to put in my life then.
work over the weekend has been good. so good that one of the days i came down with a splitting headache. there are so many thoughts on my mind now reagrding work and career (@@) keep me in your prayers as i need some very wise plannnings and advises.
today, my little desire since 2004 came to pass and i’m happy =) and yes, it’s really a small world to think i actually bumbed into mei mei and boyfriend!
and i finally downloaded bible reader to my bb! cant wait to read sos in the train tmr morning!
I bought a bbb on monday and am still trying to get use to this technical gadget. On my way to sx’s grandfather’s wake and I’m blogging on tje go for the very first time! Earlier, uploaded some word, excel and ppt onto this bb. Totally cool! This berry can be better than carrying my mini asus around
