celebrated my bestie’s bday on 19sept09 at orchard central mall’s heaven’s loft. heaven’s loft is a nice alfresco chill out place. but the food is pretty expensive, so we only ordered drinks. bee managed to get a few of us to share 6 scopes of ben and jerry’s with her, much to her delight!
we flew back a christian audigier top from usa just for her!
samuel, bingren, bennie, charming and i went to a ktv at serangoon garden to continue celebration after celebration at heaven’s loft.
highlight of the night at ktv was when charming sang “poker face”! =)
had a treat lunch at ilLido, sentosa recently. it’s an italian restuarant besides the golf club.
my appetizer- onion soup
the other appetizer- cheese and tomato.. i didnt like the cheese
my main course- chicken bits with potato. which i didnt enjoy. the chicken didnt taste nice and i’m not a potato lover. the other main course was some salmon which i felt was overcooked. the third main course was pasta in tomato sauce, which i didnt choose as it was tomato based.
the only dish i enjoyed, the tiramisu with mint ice cream. i traded my tiramisu with my neighbour’s share of ice cream. i love choco mint ice cream!

i wished i had lunched somewhere else instead as i’m not into fine-dining. unless you are really into fine italian food, choose somewhere else instead.
my colleague and i had lunch at sheraton recently and we had a good hour there!
the rooms and pool is pretty old, but they are in the midst of upgrading. i’m sure it will be a very grand hotel in a few years time.
had lunch with sam and oscar this afternoon. they guys didnt want to drive and settle for food nearby. we decided to have something nicer since it’s payday =)
i saw a cgl from another zone while walking to the cafe. think he should be working at technopark..
we tried out this cafe named “the barn” which sells mostly sandwiches and pasta. i helped sam to collect his french onion soup since he has difficulty moving.. so nice of me =p unfortunately, a lady knocked into me and the hot soup spilled on my hand.. i let out my signature scream in the cafe which created quite a commotion..
well, lunch was otherwise good except for the hot soup.
