recently, i watched ice age with my boyfriend and harry potter last night with bennie, bing ren and my boyfriend.
these 2 movies are not the best movies to catch this period but i do enjoy them to a certain degree. but i know my boyfriend finds these movies sort of “time-wasting” and “bo liao”. yet he still so willingly watched with me just because i want to and he doesnt complain.
unlike him, when i do something i dont like, i will sulk and whine the whole day, or even 2..
chc always teaches that love is giving at the expense of self.
i know my boyfriend loves me =)
anyway, harry potter and the half blood prince is a very slow movie. i think it has the most boring storyline among all its stories.
had an awesome meeting with rev phil pringle in the morning. now is the time when God will answer prayers.
helped out at recept after service and was thinking to myself the weather was fantastic for picnic with the zone at ecp.
gave limin bs at burger king and the weather was scorching hot!
however, rain clouds covered ecp by mid afternoon and there was a heavy downpour! the wet weather program saved the day though, heh, and we celebrated pst zhuang’s bday way in advance which caught him by surprised! yay!
left ecp and friends to meet dearest and samuel for movie gran torino- a show which depicts the dark side of life.
a nice tweeny romantic movie… but “ip man” is still better!
yesterday was a fruitful day!
i slept early on sunday and woke up early on monday, did my laundry, mopped the floor and spent time at home and with mom. hahha sounds a bit boring though..
in the evening, watched tropic thunder with friends. oh gosh, it’s an extremely funny show! been a long long time since i laughed so hard and loud in a movie.
worth watching for a weekend’s price!

i bought my mobile phone last sat with wendy. imagine the very pregnant woman walking around jp with me to shop for my sony ericsson. 爱.
anyway, i’m very happy with my purchase even though it’s an old model. it doesnt matter so long i can talk, text and cam whore with it till i can upgrade my line next october 2009. haahaahaa
yesterday after boon’s and mich’s rom, a few of us decided to catch a move.

last night, because of 爱, i decided to ring up a friend whom i had not talked to for a long long time. it was awkward initially, but i’m just glad the catching up went on well. there’s just a little more to be done.
friends are important to me.
it’s been a while since i watched a movie. missing those times when sundays are movie-evenings with wendy.

caught my dark knight with eliz!!
i think i ate most of the nachos as she only ate a mini portion.. i’m gonna stay away from the chessy stuff for quite a while =(
have i mentioned that batman is my super hero? =P

it was one of those very rare meetings where i felt as if Jesus walked into the room. the presence was so tangible and strong as we began to surrender our bitterroots to Him. God’s presence was so strong that beck fell under the power of God, which kind of startled me a bit. after the meeting, chui and clarence shared that they almost fell under God’s power too.

was supposed to meet elizabeth at 11.15am when i woke up at 11.15am instead! goodness, what an impression huh.. i’m so sorry elizabeth!
cgm was good. i believe some members were ministered by God. but i do agree that the meeting could be better. but then again, who doesnt want every meeting to be a better one? so i’m still thankful that God have visted the cg. according to jo and liz, the cg gave a breakthrough offering.

the members were very helpful, nice and fun. after cg, we went lunching and shopping at suntec, millenium walk and marina square. we had some very funny moments during the bus ride to airport. at the airport, we created quite a scene as we threw a surprise birthday celebration for fen. fen, your members love you a great deal!

i’ve got a gift from wendy!
caught hancock with wendy. had watched the trailer before and thought it’s another crap movie. however wen heard that it has a very touching ending, so i thought might as well give it a try since the last movie i watched was indiana jones, which was in may.. oh man, the movie has quite a few unexpected twists, coupled with a very touching ending. love the movie!
bought a pair of mango jeans at only $29! good buy!
